Add new functionality to Large Angle Stability analysis so that a single fixed-weight item in the loadcase can be selected so that automatically the maximum VCG of that item can be found for which the GZ curve still (just) passes all selected stability criteria.
Current Limit KG analysis works for a range of displacements but the CG is "fixed" ie no fluid shift or spilling etc. The new propposed anaysis would work based off the current loadcase - ie with current tank loadings, spilling, conditional flooding etc. Only the VCG of a single "fixed weight" item in the loadcase would be adjusted to find its highest position for which the GZ curve still (just) passes all selected stability criteria
Specify Large Angle Stability, set fluid mode, damage, and other options. Specify that max. VCG of loadcase is to be found
Select criteria to be satisfied
Select loadcase and indicate which load should be varied in VCG
LAS is solved for current loadcase using starting VCG.
Inner loop using deltaKG sin (phi) method to estimate GZ curve for modified loadcase VCG. Use binary search to find max. VCG
Redo from point 4. until converged
Can use table format as for autoballast for selecting load which may be modified
